ABOUT US
After working for other cabinet shops for more than 30 years, Bill Starnes opened "Starnes Cabinets" in January of 1984, He became so busy that he called his son, Tim, to see if he'd be interested in coming to work for him. Of course Tim said yes.
Tim moved to Glen Rose in May of 1984, and his wife, Phyllis and their son Matthew moved soon after. Tim worked for his Dad for 8 years until Bill retired in 1992. The name was then changed to "Starnes Custom Cabinets."
Bill worked for Tim for a year until God called him home. Now, Bill works full time for the Lord.
When he was old enough, Matthew, Tim's #1 son, worked off and on, after school and during the summer. In 2003, Matt started working full time, continuing to learn from "his dear ole Dad" and even showed Tim a thing or two. Matthew and Tim work very well together, just as Bill and Tim did.
January 1st, 2020 Tim retired and handed off the family business to Matt. Tim now works for Matt just as he did for his dad.
